More St. Louis Pics

Grandpa, More Flooding, and Getting ready for Graduation

On Thursday Chris' dad came in for the weekend graduation festivities. We spent the afternoon and evening doing all things St. Louis. It was a great time, first of all, because my father-in-law is awesome, but also because Chris lived here when he was Ryan's age and it was fun for his dad to hang out here with us one more time. We went downtown to Laclede's Landing which is on the Mississippi (everytime I say that I think of Julie Biesinger saying "the Ole' Miss, the Ole' Man. Sorry Julie, my memory doesn't quit). For those of you who saw my flood pictures from a few months ago, this is much worse. The water is halfway up the steps to the arch. Amazing! After walking around we went to dinner, the awesome St. Louis Zoo, and then Ted Drewes. For those of you not accustomed with St. Louis, Ted Drewes is on Route 66 and is the BEST frozen custard spot around. I believe it is the best in the US, and I'm sure I'm right, but we'll leave it at that. It is definately a St. Louis landmark, and just a whole lot of fun!

Last Swim Party

Last Saturday we had a swim party for our kids at our awesome gym/pool. It was a lot of fun to have their school friends there for the last time, and even Ryan's fourth grade teacher, Miss Zelle came for a while. We will miss all of our good friends here!

Yes, that's my husband. I think our friends here are impressed, or perhaps frightened by the moves we can pull off without alcohol. (rock on Des Peres ORTHO!!!)

Skate Park=Orthopedic Nightmare

Ryan loves to skateboard and use his ripstick which is ten times more dangerous and twice the fun! Chris has been taking him to a cool skate park in the area that he loves. He is teaching himself to do all kinds of tricks!

The Last Mow. . . (boo-hoo. . .)

Here is Chris mowing our nasty lawn for the LAST TIME!!!! WAHOOO!! Someone pinch me because I can't believe we are finally finished. Is that the way any of you felt (LeeAnn, Julie, Kell, Meliss, etc?)

Rollin' rollin' rollin'

Our entire house is dry-walled!
They have bricked the areas on the outside that need to be bricked and will be rocking soon. I can'tbelieve how fast they are moving!
