Jukebox heroes, with stars in their eyes

Come on, admit it, you all secretly know that Bono wears sponge rollers when practicing. This is why he is so hot. Brooklyn and Emmy were shakin' their groove thang and gettin' down with guitar hero and a little Santana and The Who. It's kinda funny when your not-yet-three-year old begins humming snatches of classic rock while playing with the Sweet Street Village or sitting on her Elmo potty. (yes, we are almost potty trained. I say 'we', but if you have ever potty trained you will understand)

It kinda makes me wax reminiscent about Bill and Ted and "strange things being afoot at the Circle K".

Roof Roof!!

Ok, this is seriously the last time I am going to post for a day or two. However, I had to share the pics I received from Jeff and Jamie. (hoorah!) I can't believe how different it looks with the roof on! And the windows are all in place too. Ohh man, I hope we get final financing. . . .

Got Cards?

My sister's friend, Elizabeth, just started a card company. It is beginning with two birthday collections containing everything you need to create your own fabulous birthday salutation. I am impressed and will be buying some in the future. Visit her website at cherriesjubileecreations.com Perhaps someday I will be so inventive. . . (Elizabeth, I hope it's ok that I used this without asking)

Speaking of inventive, I will post a picture of the birthday invite my sister, Lindsay just made for my nephew Max. It is a pirate-themed party and the invite is unbelieveably cute. Maybe the two of them should join together someday and make a killing. Then they can take us all out to lunch at Cafe Rio. Ole! (my junior high Spanish teacher had that on a belt buckle)

Yes, It's Me Again

Here is another cool pic. I think I just got some new pics from Jamie and Jeff (my sis and bro. in law), so I will post them tonight. I also have some NEAT pics from Jeff's commissioning into the Army. It was very emotional and we are so proud of him! I also have some fun pics of Chris and I in DC and Chicago, such FUN places to visit. HEY, Julie Biesinger, if you read this, know that I wanted to come visit you SO BAD when I was in UT a few weeks ago, but time never presented itself. The only time I really had was on Sunday for a bit, but I know that you go to your parent's house for dinner on Sunday. I thought about just showing up to say hi, but chickened out. Say "hi" to Carolee and Neil for me, I haven't seen them in a long time. Oh, and if you need help with the reunion, I will gladly do something with you. I don't want to be 'in charge' but I will share duty with someone. LOVE YOU!! You are a strong woman. . . no pun intended of course.

Long Time Gone

Ok, Ok, I know I haven't posted for a long time. Chris and I have been out of town a lot. We went to DC, and then to Chicago and then spent a week in Utah. Oh yeah, and then I had the flu for a week. Nice. Here are some pictures from our trip to see it for the first time. Since these were taken it has had the roof put on and I believe they are putting in insulation and getting ready to drywall. We don't have pics of that yet, we have to wait for Chris' brother to send them. I hope this satisfies all of you who send subliminal, and not so subliminal messages to me about not updating quick enough (you know who you are. . . )

Here is the house with the windows in, the two garages with our electrician, Steve (hi Steve!), our bedroom, with the bay window looking out back and looking into our kitchen from the great room. The last one, which I didn't intend to post is of my sister, Lindsay, my mom, and my nepher and niece, Max and Finleigh. My mom will freak, she doesn't like photos. Sorry mom.
